  • Who in my family can use this program?

    While the program is only available for you to sign up through your employer, you have the option of a plan that covers everyone “under your roof and wallet.” This plan also includes senior family coverage for parents, in-laws, and grandparents over the age of 65.

  • How much does coverage cost?

    Enroll in Allstate Identity Protection Pro+ Cyber for $7.50 per month or $13.50 per month for coverage for the entire family.

  • When would my coverage start?

    This Allstate Identity Protection Pro+ Cyber coverage begins 1/1/26 to those who enroll on or after 11/3/2025. For those enrolling after 1/1/26, you will be eligible for coverage as soon as you enroll. While some features begin as soon as you enroll, for certain features to work, such as financial threshold and social media monitoring, you will need to enter your account information for us to begin monitoring.

  • What if my employment status changes?

    Good news! If you leave or retire from your current employer, you can continue your coverage without interruption (subject to applicable law and the plan’s terms and conditions). Although payroll deduction will no longer be available, you can opt for other payment methods such as direct bank account deduction, credit card billing or home billing. Higher rates may apply.

  • Why would I need Allstate Identity Protection when my bank and/or credit card company offer a program?

    Allstate Identity Protection invests considerable resources into developing and advancing identity theft technology, and spends hours learning how identity thieves work. This means that these identity protection services are far broader and more comprehensive than a bank or credit card, which is usually based only on credit.     Allstate Identity Protection's comprehensive information security policy applies to all of its employees, consultants, contractors, and vendors:

    • Your information is stored solely in an encrypted data center on non-public networks behind firewalls using network address translation and address control lists
    • Security protocols enable only a limited number of professionals to access data on a need-to-know basis
    • All facilities utilize the latest security measures, as well as state-of-the-art surveillance and alarm systems

  • When I activate credit monitoring, will it impact my credit score?

    No, activating credit monitoring on your Allstate Identity Protection account is considered a soft inquiry, which does not impact your credit score, as it is informational only and not a credit application. This is different from a hard inquiry, which occurs when you apply for credit. A hard inquiry can impact your credit score.
